FAQ
What kit is required for the race?
All runners must carry: waterproof jacket and trousers, hat (buff acceptable), gloves, map (supplied at registration), compass, and a bottle—plus a full water bottle from start. The race director may adjust minimum kit on the day.
What are the registration times and cut-offs?
Marathon registration opens 7:30am and closes 8:20am; Half Marathon registration opens 9am and closes 9:50am; 10k registration opens 10am and closes 10:50am. Marathon start is 8:30am, Half 10:00am, 10k 11:00am. Canicross/harness starters leave 10 minutes after main waves; cut-off at Aifft (2:00pm) for marathon—late runners will be asked to skip the top loop.
Is there parking and where is the event HQ?
Event HQ and registration are at Coed Moel Famau Car Park. Parking is available in the Coed Moel Famau car park; follow signs from the A494 between Mold and Ruthin.
What age or eligibility rules apply?
The event welcomes all standard age categories; canicross/harness entries start 10 minutes after their wave. Dogs must be on a harness or lead throughout.
Are there timing and results?
Results are available via the official timing provider; prize-giving occurs around 2:00pm subject to completion.
