Über die Veranstaltung

The FNQ Interschool Challenge returns for 2026, hosted by Crank Collective. Races across three local parks (Davies Creek, Atherton Forest, Smithfield MTB Park) with age-group cross-country and enduro courses. Prizes, BBQ lunch, fruit, lollies and free ice pole for finishers.

Pacer

Pacemakers will be provided for each Startwave at the Atherton Forest Enduro — refer to the race programme on the day for target times per wave and Pacerflaggen; experienced pacemakers will help keep you on track.

FAQ

If I'm not ready for the long course, what can I race?

If you're new to MTB or not up for the long course, you can enter the short course social — you won't be eligible to win, but you can still come and have fun.

When do I need to be at the event?

We recommend arriving 15 minutes before rego/plate collection time to allow for a smooth morning; late arrivals may delay race starts.

I can no longer race and would like a refund.

If you can no longer attend, contact info@crankcollective.com for a full refund.

What Equipment / Safety gear do I need?

Bring a working bike, a multi-tool, spare tube, water and food. For youth categories: Full Face or open-face helmet, full-finger gloves, full-length jersey, knee pads and elbow pads are mandatory. For Enduro: helmet, gloves, jersey are required.
