Über die Veranstaltung
One of the most challenging and oldest mountain runs in Germany, held in the Naturpark Nagelfluhkette. Features technical trails with scenic alpine scenery.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
No cups provided at aid stations due to being in a nature park. Runners are advised to bring their own drinking cup or soft flask. Do not leave gel wrappers or other trash on the course.

FAQ
What is the cancellation/refund policy?
Refunds are possible up to 31.07.2025. From 01.08. to 19.08.2025, registration costs are non-refundable. After 19.08.2025, refunds are only possible if your place can be reassigned, minus a €10 administrative fee. Cancellation deadline is one hour before the respective start.
What is the registration fee for the Gebirgsmarathon and Gebirgstrail?
Early registration (until 31.07.2025): €55 for Gebirgsmarathon, €45 for Gebirgstrail. Late registration (01.08.–19.08.2025): €60 for Gebirgsmarathon, €50 for Gebirgstrail. Late fee applies after registration closes.
What are the age categories?
M (men), M30, M50, W (women), W30, W50.
Where can I pick up my registration packet?
Registration packets are issued at the Mittagbahn Talstation starting at 06:45. Participants must present their start number.
Is there a time limit?
Runners who have not reached the branching at Stuiben Sattel to continue on the long course after 2:15 hours will be directed to the short course.
What are the requirements for equipment and supplies?
Each runner must carry at least 1.5 liters of drinking water (1 liter for Gebirgstrail), a drinking cup or soft flask, gels, bars, a switched-on mobile phone, and a rescue blanket. Weather-appropriate clothing is required.
