Über die Veranstaltung

The Great Kanku‑Breakaways Bolt is an outback marathon and fun run held in the Kanku‑Breakaways Conservation Park, 30 km north of Coober Pedy, South Australia. The event raises funds for local projects and raises awareness of Aboriginal cultural connection to the land.

Verpflegung & Versorgung

Aid stations along the route are staffed from 9am with drinks, nibbles, first aid, radios and toilets. Event-specific verpflegung details are drawn from on-course aid station descriptions (not pacemaker lines).

Pacer

Provisional target times per start wave on Race Day (Renntag): Marathon and Half Marathon start at 09:20am; 10 km (including Teams) at 11:00am; 5 km Dash at midday; Mini Bolt (run/walk) at 1:30pm. Cut-off times: Marathon and Half Marathon close 6 hours after start. All bike riders (distances > 5km) should be at the start by 9:00am.
