HCL Cyclothon, launched by the HCL Group in 2023, is one of India’s largest road cycling events and the highest-prize cycling event in Asia. It brings cyclists together across Delhi, Chennai, and Hyderabad, offering a safe, motor-vehicle-free environment for competitive and recreational riders alike.

What is the Entry Fee for each of the races?
Entry fees (Inclusive of GST & Service Charges) for domestic applicants (i.e. applicants residing in India) is below: Amateur Category – INR 1499 Green Category – INR 499
Can I fill a single application form on behalf of all the members of the group participating in the event?
NO, each member/ cyclist needs to fill individual application forms with all the mandatory fields duly filled and necessary documents attached.
Can I change my race category once I have applied/my entry is confirmed?
Once you have applied for a particular race category, you cannot change your race category.
Can I and my group of friends/colleagues submit our applications together as a group?
No group applications will be accepted for any race category. Any such applications will be disqualified.
Can a representative submit applications on behalf of individuals?
Yes, however, a representative can submit individual applications of not more than 10 people.
Are there any confirmation preference criteria in Green Ride?
Confirmation preference criteria do not apply to registration and confirmation process of the races. Applications for these categories will be accepted on first-come-first-serve basis, until close date of registrations or until cycling places for each of the categories are filled, whichever is earlier.
Can someone else come to the Expo and collect my cycling number bib?
It is advisable for Amateur and Green Category participant to collect his/her cycling BIB personally from the Expo. In case of unavoidable circumstances, such a cyclist can send his/her representative to collect cycling bib on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect a cycling bib on behalf of more than cyclist. The authorized representative must carry with him/her Printout of website confirmation/ original acceptance letter, Photocopy of photo-identity proof (of the representative and the confirmed participant).
When, how and from where do I collect my Cycling Number Bib?
All confirmed participants are required to come to the Expo in order to collect their cycling bibs. No cycling bib will be posted to individual mailing addresses. It is mandatory for all category participant to collect his/her cycling bib personally from the Expo. In case of unavoidable circumstances, such cyclist can send his/her authorized representative to collect cycling bib on his/her behalf. Please note, a representative will not be allowed to collect cycling bib on behalf of more than ONE Amateur Category participant.
Can you post me my cycling Number Bib?
No. All participants must come to the Expo to collect their Bibs.
Can I transfer my application/registration-info in favor of another person?
Registrations are NOT TRANSFERABLE for any race category
Can I cycle with somebody else’s cycling BIB on race day?
No. On race day images will be screened visually after the race and if any participant is found wearing a cycling number bib not allotted to him/her, the participant registered for that bib will be disqualified from the race and the subsequent edition of the event.
Can I register for my friend?
No, an applicant must sign the waiver himself/herself. You cannot register on your friend’s behalf.
Can I register for more than one race?
No, an individual can apply only for one race in the Event. An application form received with two options chosen will be rejected. Multiple applications will entail all being rejected.
How will my entry acceptance be intimated to me?
If you have provided your correct email id in the application form/ online registration, you will receive an email confirmation. If you do not receive any intimation from the race office, please contact email us at support@hclcyclothon.com
Under the Amateur category, is there any age preference for applying under the ‘master category’?
Yes, you need to be above the age of 35 years. Age for the cyclist will be verified from his/her Aadhar Card.
Under the Amateur category, is there any age preference for applying under the ‘elite category’?
Yes, you need to be between the age of 16-40 years. Age for the cyclist will be verified from his/her Aadhar Card.
What is the last date to submit entries for each of the categories?
February 28, 2026 or as soon as cycling slots are full, whichever is earlier.
What is the minimum age eligibility for each race category?
Amateur Category: Timed Event; Minimum Age Eligibility: 16+ years Green Category, Minimum Age Eligibility: 16+ years
