A competitor-friendly marathon and half marathon held on the picturesque northern course of the Isle of Man, run from Ramsey with scenic coastal routes and support facilities.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Drinks stations are located approximately every 2.2 miles (4 km) along the course; water is provided at each station. You may also carry your own drinks in readily identifiable bottles with your race number clearly marked. No dogs are allowed in the Ballacloan Stadium. Portable toilets and changing/shower facilities are available at Race Headquarters and key points; please do not drop litter and support crew should park off-course and walk to the venue.
Pacer
The race is paced using Pacerflaggen on the course, with target start wave times published on the RaceDay information (Marathon 08:30, Half-Marathon 09:00). Pacers are assigned colour-coded flags to help runners maintain target pace; support vehicles are not permitted, and pacing or receiving aid from non-race personnel may lead to disqualification.

FAQ
When and where do I collect my race number?
Race numbers are collected at Race Headquarters, Ballacloan Stadium, North Shore Road, Ramsey. Friday 7 August 2026 5:30–7:00pm, Saturday 8 August 10:00–12:00, or race day from 07:00. Numbers are non-transferable and must be collected in person.
What are the start times for Marathon and Half Marathon?
Marathon starts at 08:30; Half Marathon starts at 09:00. There is a 10-minute warning call before each start.
What are the entry fees and when do they increase?
Entry fees are £35 for affiliated athletes and £40 for unaffiliated athletes; fees increase from midnight 12 July 2026 to £40 (affiliated) and £45 (unaffiliated).
Are walkers and wheelchair users allowed?
Walkers are welcome in both races subject to the 6-hour time limit; prams and wheelchairs are not permitted as the races are held on open roads.
What is the Isle of Man Marathon Championship?
The Championship is open to local club members and qualifying entrants; those eligible in both the open and closed categories receive both awards. Club vests must be worn.
