Über die Veranstaltung

The Isle of Man Veteran Athletes' Club organises a series of road running and walk events across the year, including the Haldane Fisher Syd Quirk Half Marathon, the Hansard Global Spring Handicap, and the Autumn Handicap, offering various distances for runners and walkers under UKA rules.

Verpflegung & Versorgung

Water and electrolyte drink available at aid stations (Billown Dip and Castletown By‑pass start). Please do not bring personal support or extra drinks on course. There is a buffet and prize presentation at Morton Hall after the race for entrants and officials.

Pacer

Pacemakers will be provided for the Half Marathon and Walk where indicated on the day: check the specific start waves on the RaceDay schedule. Follow pacers only where permitted — pacers must not impede other participants and should respect the event rules displayed at the start. On the course, adhere to the running/walking etiquette and keep left unless overtaking.

FAQ

Who can enter the Half Marathon Championship?

Entrants must be members of a local athletic club (IOMVAC, Manx Fell Runners, Manx Harriers AC, Northern AC, or Western AC) and either born in the Isle of Man or have resided continuously on the Isle of Man for at least nine months prior to race day.

What are the age limits for Walk and Run?

Walk: entrants must be 17 years of age on race day. Run: entrants must be over 17 years of age on 31 August 2025. Event rules such as Rule No 207 and Rule No 308 apply.
