The KLM Aruba Marathon is an official road race, organized on the highest international level, AIMS/World Athletics certified, Boston Qualifier and one of the qualifying Marathons for the Abbott World Marathon Majors Wanda Age Group World Championships. Experience the warmth and enthusiasm of the Aruban running community along the course!
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Fluid replacement along the Full Marathon course includes 14 water stations, with 4 serving Powerade and bananas.
Pacer
Pacers will be available for various finishing times on race day, providing guidance and motivation to help runners achieve their goals. Each pacer will carry a flag indicating their target time, and runners are encouraged to stick with their designated pacers for the best chance of finishing on time.

All after finish festivities like the Awards Ceremony and after party are on the beach of Hilton Aruba. You your family and friends are invited! Awards & prices: • Top Overall Winners: The #1, #2, and #3 overall male and female finishers of all distances will be honored on stage with a Special Cup Award.• Record-Breaking Reward:Any male or female runner who breaks the Aruba Marathon record of 02:37:13 and wins the overall title in 2026 will receive a USD 2,500 cash prize.• Aruban Champions:The fastest Aruban male and female in the marathon distance will each win a KLM return ticket and guaranteed Marathon entry to the sold-out Amsterdam Marathon ( this will be reconfirmed at an later stage)• Age Group Awards:Medals will be awarded to the top three finishers in each age category for both men and women: Gold– 1st place Silver– 2nd place Bronze– 3rd place Are there finisher medals for this event?
Participation is only for registered participants with a start number. If your baby (registered participant) is in a stroller, please start at the end of the start area and be aware of other walkers and runners during the race. Why pay for your baby or young child?
We plan and organize medical services, as well as the provision of water, fruit, and medals, based on the number of participants registered for each distance. If a significant number of unregistered participants (of any age) join the course, it becomes difficult to ensure a safe and well-managed event for those who are officially registered. Therefore, we verify at various stages—before, during, and after the race—that all participants, regardless of age, have a valid start number. Can I run or walk with a dog?
