Pace Requirements

We do not have a pace requirement, but we encourage you to stay under a 19 minute mile. We encourage all joggers and walkers to do there very best. If you are not keeping up with that pace we reserve the right to pick you up and move you forward on the course.

Race Cancellation Policy

We all know Florida weather can change in a minute. Safety is our priority, but we hold off as long as we can before we are required to cancel or postpone a race. Communication will be handled via email and social media.

What is the Florida Run Trail Series

Launching for the very first time in 2026.Runners can participate in one race or all four. Every event you complete earns you series points based on your finish time, and at the end of the season we’ll recognize the top three male and top three female point leaders with special gifts.

What If I have a Stroller

We absolutely allow strollers at our events! However, it’s important to keep in mind that your race experience may be considerably more challenging due to the off-road nature of the trails, and there are several sections that feature soft sand which can be difficult to navigate.

Do You Have Any Team Competitions

Yes! Two of our races feature an exciting team competition component: The Florida Run @ Colt Creek State Park and The Florida Run @ Lake Louisa State Park.In addition to the team competition open to all participants, the Lake Louisa State Park race will also host an exclusive 10K competition for Civil Servants.Teams must consist of three or more runners. Team members may register for any race distance, and teams may compete in one or all distances (5K, 10K, and Half Marathon). Results are scored separately by distance, and a minimum of three runners per team is required in each distance to be eligible for scoring.Awards will be presented to:Fastest Run Club Teams in the 5K, 10K, and Half MarathonGet Up & Go Award for the largest run club on race dayAll winning teams will be recognized during the post-race awards ceremony.

How Do You Score Your Team Competitions

A cross-country scoring system is used for each distance category. Awards are presented to the fastest teams in the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon, along with a Get Up & Go Award recognizing the largest team. All awards are presented during the post-race awards ceremony.
