Named Miami’s Chief Wellness Officer and Co-Founder and co-creator of one of Miami’s signature destination events: The Miami Marathon, Ruiz knows a thing or two about endurance events. In 18 years the Miami Marathon has not only brought over 25,000 people to the SoFlo market, but the event has infused over $200 Million to the local economy. Much of that is credited to the success of endurance destination events like the Miami Marathon and the events associated with health and fitness in mind.
