RCAW reserves the right to cancel the Event due to rough or dangerous conditions or in the event of an emergency situation requiring road access by Emergency Services. In the event of cancellation, there will be NO REFUND of entry fee and the cancelled Event may not be re-scheduled.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Drink station and first aid at the start of the Nail Can Range fire trail (around 2.5 km). Additional water and first aid at the 4 km mark. Final water and first aid station just before the 10 km mark.
Pacer
Pacer pace groups are set per start wave on the race day using target times published on the event schedule: start windows align with the course map times (e.g., Wave A 10:00, Wave B 10:15). Pacers wear visible flag bibs and runners are encouraged to follow the designated pacer group for their expected finish time.

When and where is the race?
Race day is 8 November 2025. Events start from the Lavington Spots Ground precinct (Centaur Rd) with the 11.3km Nail Can Hill Run starting at 10:00am, 5km and 4km events also that morning; mountain bike at 8:00am.
Is it a timed event?
Yes, the Nail Can Hill Run is timed with a course cut-off of approximately 2 hours after the 10:00am start. Timing is provided for the 11.3km distance.
What about parking and buses?
Free Return Shuttle Bus Service available; bike racks also available at the venue.
Are there age-group prizes?
Prizes include $1,000/$300/$100 for 1st/2nd/3rd male and female in the 11.3km; age-busting and team prizes also awarded.
Can I register on the day?
Pre-entry is recommended; limited on-day registration may be available depending on capacity.
What distances are offered?
11.3km (Nail Can Hill Run), 5km, 4km (Arnold's Half Can), and a 15km mountain bike ride.
