Über die Veranstaltung
Das Running Team Ortenau wurde 2011 gegründet. Ziel war es, durch den Mix an erfahrenen Sportler*innen, sportwissenschaftlichem Know-How, jungen Talenten und starken Partner*innen in der Ortenau optimale Rahmenbedingungen für langfristige Erfolge im Laufsport zu setzen. Dieses Ziel wird noch heute verfolgt. Das Running Team Ortenau zählt heute über 90 Mitglieder, die ein breites Spektrum an sportlichen Ambitionen und Leistungsstufen repräsentieren. Somit finden alle Mitglieder Gleichgesinnte.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Verpflegung im Ziel bei allen Distanzen und an der Strecke beim 10km Lauf; Getränke, Obst und Hefezopf im Ziel.

Official pacers will be present for the 5 km and 10 km races announced on the race day schedule (Renntag); look for Pacer flag markers during the start waves.

FAQ
How can I register for the Ortenauer Laufnacht?
Registration is done online via the official EventResultTiming system at the provided registration link; choose between Einzelanmeldung (single) or Sammelanmeldung (group). The registration page lists Earlybird, Regular, and Late fees; after submitting, confirm via the email sent to you.
Is there a participation certificate?
Yes, a certificate can be issued for the Ortenauer Laufnacht — it can be downloaded after the race or requested by email (info@running-team-ortenau.de) for submission to your health insurer.
Where can I pick up my start number?
Start numbers can be collected from 15:30 onwards in the foyer of the Hanauerlandhalle; bring a valid ID. You can also collect your number at the same time as your group start.
Are there toilets and showers at the event?
Yes; there are toilets (toilettenvans) at the Rathaus location and additional facilities at the Eingangsbereich der Aufwärmhalle. Showers are available in the hall — approx. 200m from start/finish — limited to 3 shower bays.
What about parking?
The official event parking is at the Industriepark Willstätt (Industriestraße, 77731 Willstätt); from there it’s about an 800m walk to Start/Ziel. Follow the signs for Willstätt-West. Do not park in spaces marked for Edeka.
Can I register on-site or after the race start?
On-site registration is not available for this event; after-registration (Nachmeldung) is also not offered — please register before the event via the online portal.
Is there aid stations on the course?
Yes, there are drink stations and food (fruit, Hefezopf) at the finish area; the 10 km route also includes a 5 km split time station.
