Über die Veranstaltung
Race Harborough was initially established in 2014, and then bought by myself, Mary Pearson, at the end of January 2023. My priorities for the company are to deliver quality, friendly, inclusive and enjoyable events in beautiful surroundings, at fair prices, and with a minimal impact to the environment.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Water stations are provided on-course: the half marathon has hydration at miles 3 (Holcot), 6.5 (Walgrave), and 9.5 (Scaldwell); the 10k has a station at mile 3 (Holcot). Water is also available at the finish.
Pacer
Experienced pacers will lead runners at target times starting from 1hr 30min in 5‑minute increments through to 2hr 45min (1:30, 1:35, 1:40, 1:45, 1:50, 1:55, 2:00, 2:05, 2:10, 2:15, 2:20, 2:25, 2:30, 2:35, 2:40, 2:45). Pacers are assigned to maintain these target paces for each start wave to help runners achieve their goals.

FAQ
What time do I need to arrive for registration?
Registration opens at 07:00 for both the 10k (09:15 start) and half marathon (09:00 start) to collect race numbers, timing chips, and pre-ordered merchandise.
Is there on-course support?
Yes, there are professional first aid at start/finish, plus on-course hydration stations and volunteers providing support throughout both races.
Are dogs allowed?
No, dogs are not permitted on the courses as the events use footpaths across farmland.
What is the cut-off time?
The race cut-off time is 4 hours for both the 10k and half marathon.
