A forest marathon event in Portumna set on flat 5K loops with extra distance for half marathon and full marathon, featuring tarmacked roads and compacted gravel paths.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
On-course Verpflegung / aid stations provide food and drink; not Pacemaker lines.
Pacer
Pacing is forbidden — the ‘step making’ and accompaniment of participants by any athlete not in the same event is strictly forbidden for safety reasons. Use of GPS, heart rate monitors and stopwatches to monitor progress is allowed. No pacing devices or personal music players are recommended; use earphones/music players can distract runners and increase accident risk. Pacer flag runners (target times per start wave) align with official start groups.
