About the paint: How do we get clean again after the run?

At the finish line we will have cleaning stations with soft brushes so that you can give yourself a good dusting off to remove most of the powder. You won’t be 100% clean but you will be able to remove most of the paint. We recommend that you leave a towel in your car to cover your seat or spare clothes to put on top of your running gear to ensure you get as little paint as possible on your seat.CHSW cannot be held responsible for any damage or paint getting on participants vehicles, public transport or private property.

How much of my fundraising will pay for the actual costs of the challenge?

If you opt for the self-funder method of payment, 100% of your fundraising will go towards Children’s Hospice South West.Your deposit is not included towards the sponsorship target, but does go towards covering the challenge costs.

Injuries and illnesses happen - they're part of life. If you are unable to take part in your challenge, the most important thing for you to do is to let us know as soon as possible. Depending on when you pull out, we might be able to give your place to somebody else, so that Children’s Hospice South West does not lose out. We will also be able to advise you on who to alert to the fact that you will have to pull out - you may need to tell the challenge tour operator, and you may need to refer to the terms and conditions of your booking - especially for overseas adventures. If you are unable to take part in your chosen challenge, and you have already raised sponsorship for your challenge, you will need to get in touch with everyone who has supported you to let them know that you are not actually doing the challenge they have sponsored you for. You should give them the right to request a refund on their donation. If you do not take part in your challenge, then we will not still ask you to pay in the minimum sponsorship requirement.
