FAQ
Can I get a refund if I can no longer take part in the race?
Yes, a partial refund of 50% is available until 1st July 2026. You must log into your registered account to arrange it. No refunds after this date; charity registration fees are non-refundable.
Can I defer my entry to next year’s race?
Yes, you can defer to next year until 1st July 2026 via your account. Only one deferral is allowed and it expires after one year.
Can I transfer my entry to another runner?
Yes, transfers to a substitute runner are allowed until 1st August 2026 with a £25 admin fee payable at transfer. T-shirt orders cannot be amended after 1st July 2026.
Can I transfer from the Firelighter to the longer distance Ring O' Fire?
Yes, transfers are allowed until 1st August 2026 subject to a £25 admin fee and any applicable price difference. T-shirt orders cannot be amended after 1st July 2026.
Are charity entries available for relay teams?
No, charity entries are not available for relay teams.
What happens if a relay team drops a runner just before the race?
Relay teams must have a minimum of two runners. If a teammate withdraws and no replacement is found before 1 August 2026, the team must withdraw. A solo runner cannot complete the relay; the remaining runner may transfer to the solo Ring O' Fire or Firelighter subject to availability and approval.
