Über die Veranstaltung

Rochdale Harriers organise six races per year across road, track, trail and fell. The programme includes the Wardle Skyline Fell Series, Rochdale 10K, Three Day Event (Knowl Hill, Norden 6 Mile, and Hades Hill), and track time trials.

Club pacers will lead sections at several events. On the day, target times per start wave are published on the respective event page (e.g., Knowl Hill Fell, Wardle Skyline, Three Day Event). Follow the pacer flag on race day for your wave.

How can I enter a race?

Use the official registration links on each event page or contact the registrar via the club website. Some events require UKA affiliation for cheaper entry; see the membership page for details.

What kit is required?

Mandatory FRA kit: waterproof whole-body cover with taped seams and integrated hood, hat, gloves, race map, compass, and emergency food. Specific fell races may have additional cut-off times and route knowledge expectations.

Are there age categories or cut-offs?

Yes; events often have cut-off times based on distance and ascent (e.g., Wardle Skyline, Knowl Hill Fell, Hades Hill). Juniors run separately; under-14s require parent/guardian approval to train.
