Über die Veranstaltung
Run The Alamo — San Antonio Marathon, Alamo 13.1 Half, Alamo 3.1/6.2 — a historic race through downtown San Antonio past The Alamo, the River Walk, and King William district with festive crowds and support.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Said to be located at the finish line (and along the course) is food, water, and Gatorade/Powerade.
Pacer
Pacemakers will run with the field in select Wavesthe (wavesrefer to start corrals/groups) displayed on the race day schedule; refer to the online start order and Pacerguide for assigned pace target times and Pacerflag colors by wave. Pacers aim to help runners hit target splits and stay on pace.

Yes — all distances are certified by USATF for record eligibility.
What happens if I can't finish?
You may defer your entry to a future Run The Alamo race of equal or lesser value; contact info@purposeraceevents.com for details.
Is there a Team Challenge option?
Yes — check the Team section for 2026 team options and challenge formats.
Are packets available for pickup?
Packets are available for pickup at the Henry B. González Convention Center; details in your confirmation email.
Does the 26.2 include an expo?
Yes — the race includes access to the Run The Alamo Expo with vendors, food, and entertainment.
Are pets allowed?
No — pets are not allowed on the course for safety and liability reasons.
Is wheeling allowed?
Yes — wheelchair divisions are offered for all distances; email info@purposeraceevents.com for accommodation requests.
What about refunds or transfers?
Transfers are permitted; refunds are only granted if the race is canceled. See the registration page for full terms.
