Run Local’s flagship race through downtown San Jose celebrating the region’s cultures with the iconic Mariachi Mile and the scenic, flat “Speed City” course. Offers a dedicated kids run, student discounts, guided pacing, and aid stations with water, electrolytes, and energy gels.
On-course aid stations offer water, electrolytes, and portable restrooms. Selected stations also provide energy gels. Finish line includes fruit, water, electrolytes, and healthy snacks.
Pacers available for multiple target finish times (1:30, 1:40, 1:50, 2:00, 2:10, 2:20, 2:30, 2:40, 2:50, 3:00, 3:15, 3:30). Look for Pacer signers at the start line; pacer presence and flags noted; included in entry when stated.

There will be 2 packet pickup options before race day:Friday, May 29: 3:00pm – 7:00pm Saturday, May 30 – 8:00am – 2:00pm Bib Pickup takes place at Santana Row Park (1008 Santana Row, San Jose, CA 95128), next to Vintage Wine Bar & Blue Bottle Coffee. This is the ONLY FREE option to pick up your Race Bib & T-Shirt.

This year we’ve moved to dynamic bib assignments, so you did not receive a pre-assigned Bib #. It will be assigned on race weekend or has been assigned if you received your bib in the mail.Your QR code will be sent to you on Race Week, ahead of Friday’s Packet Pickup
Yes, but only after you finish the race! Shirts can be exchanged at the post race festival on Santana Row, while supplies last.
Your participant shirt will not be mailed to you along with your bib. You can pick up your shirt either at the Friday or Saturday Expo or on Sunday after your race near Race Solutions in the Santana Row Festival area.

The start location for the Half Marathon & 8K will be on Stevens Creek Blvd, down the street from the Yard House & is linked here The Speed City Mile will start on Tatum Lane & Santana Row and the 408Kids Fun Run check-in will be next to Blue Bottle Coffee & will run through the heart of Santana Row.
Yes, but ONLY on SUNDAY. It will Open at 6AM & will be located on Santana Row & Olin St in the Finish Line Festival near Blue Bottle Coffee & Vintage Wine Bar.

The following items are not permitted on the course: Dogs or any pets, skateboards, bicycles, roller blades, baby joggers, and any other type of vehicle (other than official Marathon vehicles).These regulations are for your safety and the safety of the other participants in the race. Yes! But please note: to enjoy all that our race has to offer and for the safety of all participants, we encourage a headphone/earbud-free environment during the running of all of our races. You must be able to hear any verbal instructions or commands from race staff.
HALF MARATHONMILE 6 (Market St. & Santa Clara St.) – 9:10AM – Runners who do not make this time limit will be redirected. It is approximately 16mins per mile.FINISH (Santana Row) – 11:00AM – This is the overall course time limit which is 3 hours and 30mins from the start (gun time at 7:30AM). It is approximately 16mins per mile. Online registration will be open until each race distance starts on race morning!You will need to register yourself online before coming to the Solutions tent race morning to collect your bib. Please note: Your shirt size may be sold out if you wait until the last minute to sign up. You may also register at the Expo.
Nope! Adults do not need to register to run with their child in the Kid’s Fun Run.
No official timing or results are necessary for virtual runners, but we’ll send you email instructions during race week to upload your result to our Race Roster leader board. We encourage you to time your run, take a photo after you finish, and post your unofficial time with your photo to your social networks of choice with #sanjosehalf!
