Über die Veranstaltung
The Spartathlon is a historic ultramarathon held annually in Greece, tracing the footsteps of Pheidippides, an ancient Athenian runner who sought help from Sparta before the Battle of Marathon. Known for its challenging terrain and strict time limits, it takes runners across various landscapes including asphalt roads and mountain trails.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Aid stations are equipped with food, water, and personal belongings every 3 to 5 kilometers.
Pacer
Pacers are allowed to assist runners only at designated checkpoints, providing physical help as needed. Specific target times for each wave will be provided prior to the race.
