Am I Able To Transfer My Place To Someone Else?

Yes – Your entry into the Event is transferable, transfers are conducted via the Njuko participant dashboard. You will not receive a refund.. No refund will be made and there is a minimum charge of at least £12 (Plus admin charges) to be paid by the transferee. The deadline to transfer is midnight on 30th April 2026. Please note, you will not receive a refund from us for your original booking and if the transfer to an Event is of a higher value, you will incur a fee to the value of the difference in costs. In the event you are found to have transferred your race entry to another person, without following the event procedure, your number will be disqualified from the race and jeopardise entry at future races.

Am I Able To Transfer My Place To Another Front Runner Event?

Yes – You are able to transfer your entry into another Front Runner Event. All transfers must be conducted via the Njuko participant dashboard and made no later than 30th April 2026. Please note, you will not receive a refund from us for your original booking and if the transfer to an Event is of a higher value, you will incur a fee to the value of the difference in costs. In the event you are found to have transferred your race entry to another person, without following the event procedure, your number will be disqualified from the race and jeopardise entry at future races.

Can I defer my entry to next year’s race?

Yes – you can defer your entry if you are injured, have a medical condition or are pregnant or postpartum, which is preventing you from taking part. Your entry can be deferred once and into the subsequent year’s event and must be completed by 3rd June 2026. There is a deferral fee of £30 (+bf) which will be applied during your registration into the next event. You must start the deferral process in your Njuko participant dashboard.

Can I have a refund if I can’t run?

Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds. This is due to the costs associated in the preparation and planning of the event. If you purchased insurance during your race registration, please check your entry confirmation (e-ticket) to complete your request for a refund.

Will water be available on the course?

Brecon Carreg are our Hydration partner and will be providing water along the route approximately every 3 miles and at the finish.

What is in my race pack?

If you have chosen postal delivery your race pack will start being sent out approximately 2 weeks before the race. Your race pack contains your race number with integrated timing chip and your race day information. If you have chosen to collect, you will be able to collect from us between Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th June. Please note, there will be NO race day collections.

Can I register on the day?

No – there will be no entry or registration on the day and entries will close at midnight on the 7th May.

Is there a cut off time?

You must be able to complete the full distance of the Event (13.1 miles) within 4 hours for the half marathon, if you exceed 1 hour 53 minutes at the 10K point, you will be asked to board the sweep vehicle and will not be able to complete the Event. All roads will re-open at 1pm.

Are there toilets on the course?

Yes, there are toilets, located throughout the course as well plenty at the start. In addition, there will be female-only toilets (with sanitary products), and urinals at the race village.

If I suffer an injury on race day, what support is available?

Professional medical staff will be available at the Start/Finish line and along the course should you face difficulties.

Can I raise money for charity?

Yes, we have a number of charities we are affiliated with but, if you want raise funds for a different charity you will need to contact them directly for a fundraising pack.

Can I run in fancy dress?

Running in fancy dress is welcomed, however if your outfit is likely to impede other runners please contact [email protected]

Can I run with headphones?

In line with Welsh Athletics rules, headphones are no longer permitted, unless they are the bone conducting type where you are able to hear your surroundings. This is so you be aware of others around you, listen to all race briefing information, marshalls on the course and all emergency services.

What are the start time and location of the race?

08:30* – Freedom Family Fun Run Start 09:00* – Elite Athlete and Mass Race Start The race will start and finish near Museum Green (SA1 1SN). *Start times are subject to change based on conditions on the day of the event

Is there a baggage area?

Yes, there will be a bag drop located at the LC (doors located at Museum Green).

Where does the cost of my entry go?

Entry fees go towards, but are not limited to the following: Finisher medals. Event staging and logistics. Staffing costs. Volunteer contributions. Plant and equipment hire. Road closure and traffic management costs. License and membership fees to Welsh Athletics and AIMS. Race timing and tech (including the race day app, entry portal, website and communications). Medical provision. Safety team and radio communications. Race village. Race day commentary. Branding & signage. Photography & videography. Event support including office overheads and running costs. Event marketing and advertising.

When do entries close?

General entries will close at midnight on the 7th May 2026, unless we reach capacity before this date.

What age can I enter to run the half marathon?

You must be at least 17 years old on the date of the event to participate in the Swansea Half Marathon.

Is there a prize for winning?

Can I qualify for an elite place?

Yes, the Mizuno Swansea Half Marathon Elite Entry program welcomes competitive runners who meet our qualifying standards and are ready to race for top prizes. To qualify for elite entry into the Swansea Half Marathon, athletes must meet the following time standards, verified via Power of 10 or RunBritain Rankings: Female: Sub 80 minutes | Male: Sub 70 minutes

How do I edit my registration details?

You’ll need to head your confirmation booking email and click on the link that will take you to your registration details. Once in, you can update your contact information and estimated finishing time (before the deadline).

Is there a waitlist?

No, once the race sells out, places are only available through the official charities. To find the charity you would like to run and fundraise for click HERE.

How do I report lost property?

If you’ve lost an item during the race you can contact our team by emailing: [email protected] with your full details and description of your lost item. Someone will get back to as soon as possible, but please note that delays may be possible, whilst our team is de-rigging the event.
