Über die Veranstaltung

The Arctic Run is a unique island marathon experience in Vesterålen, Northern Norway, featuring a 42 km loop around Hadseløya with scenic views and a maximum elevation of 300 meters. The event welcomes all abilities from beginners to experienced runners, with additional distances including a half marathon and a 10k, plus a free Family Run on race weekend.

Pacer

Pacers will be present on race day with target times displayed per start wave. The Pacer flag will be shown at the start/finish and along the route to help runners maintain their desired pace. Pacers are included in the race pass and do not require a separate NFIF license for the event.

FAQ

Do I need a license to participate?

Yes, a NFIF license is required in addition to your Run Pass. A one-time license valid for the event can be obtained in the registration portal. Those with a paid license are insured during the event. Children under 13 are covered by collective sports insurance and do not need a license.

Can I transfer my registration?

Yes, you can transfer your registration via our official registration platform. It is your responsibility to find a buyer. Contact support if you need assistance.

Is there a family run?

Yes, there is a free 600m Family Run on Saturday at 10:00 AM. Registration is free and pick-up of your race number is at the Expo between 08:00 and 09:45 AM.
