A free community mass-participation mile held at Medway Park in celebration of sport and physical activity in Gillingham, with family fun runs, mascot races, and partner taster sessions.

Who is the Mass Medway Mile for?

The timed Mass Medway Mile is for adult runners (16+) and is run in partnership with Medway and Maidstone Athletics Club. The Children’s and Family Fun Races are for younger participants and all abilities.

Do I need to pre-book for the Mass Medway Mile?

Entry to the Mass Medway Mile is free on the day; no pre-booking is required. For the timed races, turn up on the day at the designated start time.

What facilities are available at Medway Park?

Medway Park offers multiple courses finishing within the athletics track, toilet and catering facilities, as well as free family fun activities and entertainment.
