The UK’s original and award-winning Mud Obstacle Race near London, featuring a permanent 100+ obstacle assault course in Surrey. Options include 5K and 10K distances, open to all fitness levels from beginners to elite OCR athletes.
Hot and cold food & drinks available from event catering partner ‘The Munchy Box’ in the event village; multiple food vendors on-site.
Pacers will be provided on course with designated pace groups displayed on the race-day schedule (Renntag). Follow pacers’ flags and timing to stay on target per wave. Pacer support available for all main distance options.

Once we are full – please book early to avoid disappointment. But, usually a minimum of two weeks before race day. On the day sign-ups may be available and will be released once online registration has closed.

You must be 13 years old and above. However, 13-16 year olds must be accompanied around the course with a guardian. The last wave of the day we will accept 11 years and up so you can run as a family.
Lots of crawling on your hands and knees and climbing up river banks and cargo netting in the mother of adventure race challenges. We have lots of obstacles so if you are not sure that you can tackle an obstacle please walk around and go on to the next one.
You will need to be able to wade through water that may be up to chest height. (approx. Depth is 5ft)
Yes – if you do not feel confident enough to tackle one of our Nuttie obstacles just walk around it. There are around 100 obstacles in total so you will not be missing out! However, if you are taking part in qualification or Limitless please read the rules specifically applicable to those.
One lap is approximately 7km. (Please do not underestimate The Nuts Challenge course as there are over 100 obstacles and it can be very physically draining).
Anywhere from 1 hour to 3.5 hours per 7k (1 lap).
Yes, there is plenty of parking at just £5 per car. Please bring cash on the day. Please car share wherever possible and be aware parking is on grass and therefore can be affected by the weather conditions
A big towel Clothes and footwear to get changed into after the challenge. (A changing marquee is available for your use) 2 bin bags (one for your dirty clothing and trainers and one to double bag it) Photographic ID (photocopies are accepted)
Cold weather: We recommend base layers, gloves, hat, windproof top and waterproof socks. Avoid wearing cotton clothing. Warm weather: Technical tops and running bottoms made of sports fabrics; though please bear in mind that if you choose to wear shorts this may result in grazed and cut knees, similarly if you wear t-shirts expect your arms to get grazed and cut too. Footwear: Trainers (Please make sure your laces are tied tightly as they will get sucked off in the mud). NO SPIKES OR STUDDED SHOES! IF YOU WEAR THESE YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO RUN. We have 3 to 4 very basic shower heads (cold water). Please bring a towel and a change of clothing along with 2 bin bags to store your dirty clothing.
There is a staffed key drop area where you can leave your keys when you are off on course. Please leave other valuables in your car; the car park is manned by staff all day. *The staff reserve the right to decline your valuables if more than keys.
An area is available for you to leave your bags however, this bag drop is not staffed so please leave only non-valuable items. Please do not leave money, cards, keys or phones etc.
You will be able to buy food and drinks throughout the day. We have various food vendors.
Friends, family and children can come along and watch. Dogs are also welcome provided they are on a lead.
We have onsite medical facilities brought to you by Platinum Ambulances.

There are no refunds given.
You will be able to transfer your place to another person free of charge if you do this before online registration closes. If registration has closed, you can still name transfer. You or the transferee will be required to pay a £10 transfer fee on the day (cash or card). We MUST have an email from the participant confirming they would like to action a name transfer. Please note we do not offer deferrals but you can give or sell your ticket to another person and transfer your place.
