A mountain bike and gravel endurance race held in the Aysén region of Chilean Patagonia. Set in a remote, stunning natural setting, the event features multiple stages over several days with aid stations, mandatory GPS tracking, and support for both MTB and gravel bikes.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Each stage has official aid stations offering water and food. Exact locations are listed in the stage profile and during the daily briefing; generally less than 40 km apart.
Pacer
Mandatory GPS tracking for all stages. Pacer goals and target times are provided per start wave in the ‘Renntag für Laufende’; Pacerflaggen are used on course. No external mechanical support is allowed during stages.

What kind of terrain will I encounter on each stage?
The race combines different types of terrain. They are mostly well-maintained tracks, with many sections of trail through forests
Does the route change every year?
Yeah. Although it maintains the main stages, the route design varies each edition to offer new experiences, improve safety, and adapt to environmental conditions.
Will I know the race route before the race?
Yes, but only when they are 100% validated. They are published two weeks before the start of the event, after the final checks and adjustments. The organization notifies participants as soon as they are available.
Are the stages fully marked, or do we just follow the trail?
The race is ridden exclusively along the designated route. Although there may be occasional reference points for safety reasons, the rules require participants to follow the official route using GPS.
Are there feed stations along the route?
Yes. Each stage has official aid stations offering water and food. The exact locations are listed in the stage profile and during the daily briefing, but as a general rule, they are located less than 40 kilometers apart.
Which bike is best suited for this route?
The route can be done with either a mountain bike or a gravel bike. Although much of the route is shared, there are specific sections for each type of bicycle.
Are there any cutoff times?
There may be some stages where cut-off times are established to improve the safety of participants. These will be communicated in the briefing prior to the stage.
Are there shuttle services for riders between the camp and the starting line?
Yeah. When a stage does not start or finish at the hotel, the organization provides official transfers.
