Über die Veranstaltung
Triathlon Alphen is a Sprint and Kwart triathlon held in and around Zegersloot, organized by Triathlon Club Alphen. The event includes a business team option and takes place in the Zegerslootgebied with swimming in Zegerplas, cycling along the Westkanaalweg, and a running loop around the lake.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Stalls at the venue include Smooth Coffee, Frietfeest, and Max offering coffee, frites, snacks, and drinks. Water and sport drinks are available at aid stations during the bike and run course; after the finish there will be water, fruit, and sweet & savory snacks.
Pacer
Pacemakers will be present with Pacerflaggen for each start wave. On the racing day (Renntag) target times per start wave are communicated at the briefing and indicates expected split times for the swim, bike and run to help runners maintain a steady pace. Pacerflaggen will be raised for the corresponding start waves and marshals will assist with discipline transitions.

What is the minimum age for the Sprint and Kwart distances?
Sprint is open to participants aged 16 and older. Kwart requires participants to be at least 18 years old; exceptions for younger athletes with experience are possible by prior arrangement.
Is there a transition (T1/T2) timing?
Yes, transitions T1 and T2 are timed. Penalties apply for early crossing; proper race number handling is required.
What are the parking options?
Parking is available at multiple designated lots nearby; follow the route descriptions and obey marshals’ directions on race day.
