Über die Veranstaltung
A scenic trail run on Grand Island in Lake Superior featuring forested paths, historic sites, and shoreline views. The course crosses the island’s famous Tombolo and offers dramatic vistas of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
On-course aid stations offer cold water, cold Gnarly Fuel2O electrolyte drink, Hammer Gels, and Hammer Nutrition Fizz. Each runner must carry a 20 oz bottle or functional hydration system and refill at stations.
Pacer
Pacemaker groups align with staggered starts shown on the race-day schedule (Renntag). Pacers display flags to help runners maintain target splits; registered runners and pacers receive detailed timing group information via the event portal.

What is the participant limit?
Total participant limit is 500 for 50K, marathon and half marathon combined.
Can I transfer my entry?
Transfers are not allowed. You may change your race distance using your UltraSignup account; any price difference is not refunded.
What time is packet pickup?
Packet pickup is Friday, July 24, 3:00–9:00 p.m. at Holiday Inn Express Lakeview, E8890 M-28, Munising, MI 49862.
What is the refund policy?
No refunds are offered. The event follows Aravaipa Running’s withdrawal policy.
