Über die Veranstaltung

A long-standing Montgomery community tradition featuring a 5K Bun Run, a Kids' Half Mile Race, and a 2-Mile Fitness Walk. The event draws runners from near and far and includes awards, t-shirts, and celebration.

Verpflegung & Versorgung

Water and aid stations are provided on course for the 5K and 2‑Mile Fitness Walk. Concessions are available near the start/finish; no outside food or coolers are permitted in Memorial Park.

Pacer

Pacers will be provided for the 5K and 2‑Mile Fitness Walk at listed start times on race day (see Renntag schedule). Pacerflaggen mark the pacer groups on the course; follow your assigned pace wave and stay with your pacer for the duration.

There are multiple ways that you, businesses and organizations can become involved in the Kolacky Days Celebration! You can become a member of the MACC or just volunteer for the weekend. Businesses can become financial sponsors and offer volunteers and organizations can volunteer or even become a food vendor. To report a lost item or inquire about a misplaced item, please stop by the MACC trailer near the beer garden and/or the security trailer, both located in Memorial Park. The Montgomery Area Community Club offers Monty Bucks as prizes for many of our events that are accepted at many of our local retailers, restaurants, and professional services. This program helps support our local businesses and is sponsored by the Montgomery Chamber of Commerce They make perfect gifts for family, friends, teachers and coaches. Please contact Steve Flicek at (952) 836-6688 if you have any questions. PARKINGWhere do I park? Besides harvest time, Kolacky Days is probably the busiest time in Montgomery. The main location to park is on-street parking, both if you are going to Memorial Park or when visiting the Historic Downtown area. There are a few handicapped parking stalls located near the 5th Street entrance to Memorial Park.PERSONAL TRANSPORTATIONCan I skateboard, rollerblade or bike downtown?

Per Montgomery City Code, in-line skating, rollerblading and skateboarding are all prohibited within the downtown business district. Biking is allowed, however, we would appreciate that you would refrain from doing so on Saturday during the Classic Car Show and the Grand Day Parade on Sunday due to the crowds.
