A non‑competitive, family‑friendly celebratory 5K (3.1 miles) supporting girls in Grades 3‑5. Participants walk, run, push, or roll at their own happy pace, with registered Running Buddies and volunteers ensuring a safe, encouraging experience finish with a celebration and medal.
Pacer
Pacemakers will be present on the course to guide participants at target times aligned with Start Waves listed on the Race Day (Renntag) schedule. Pacers display identifiable flags to help runners maintain their desired pace, supported by volunteers and event staff ensuring a safe, encouraging environment for all participants.

Most participants finish in 30–50 minutes; the fastest complete it in about 25 minutes. Walk, run, push, or roll at your own happy pace.
Is the 5K course accessible for people with disabilities?
Yes — the event is for everyone. All participants can walk, run, push, or roll safely and at their own pace.
Do I have to sign a waiver?
Yes. All 5K registration forms include a liability waiver.
What safety measures are in place?
Every participant must wear a council-provided bib with emergency contact info. Coaches connect girls to Running Buddies; volunteers monitor the course; and a safety plan approved with local emergency management is in effect.
What is included with 5K registration?
Registration includes a t-shirt, an official 5K bib with pins, a finisher medal, sponsor giveaways, finish-line snacks, and free downloads of professional 5K photos (by Focal Flame).
Can additional family members or community members participate?
Yes — family, friends, and community members can participate, but must register.
Can spectators attend?
Yes! Spectators do not need to register and can cheer along the course.
What if there is inclement weather?
The 5K will take place rain or shine. In severe weather, updates will be communicated via coach text/email.
