A family-friendly 5K in downtown Asheville celebrating the holiday with running, community, and local partners.

One water stop at mile 1.5. On-course food and drink provided.

Pacer

Pacemakers will be provided for the 5K. On race day (Renntag), target times per start wave and pacer flag colors will be displayed at the start to help runners stay on pace.

What is the race schedule and packet pickup times?

Friday, July 3rd 3:00–6:00 pm at The Mule for packet pickup; Saturday, July 4th 7:00–8:00 am packet pickup at Pack Square; race start at 8:00 am.

What are the pricing tiers and deadlines?

Early Bird (Oct.1–Dec.31, 2025) €40; Early Bird (Jan.1–May.31, 2026) €50; Summer (Jun.1–Jul.3, 2026) €60 — register by 7:30 am on race day or when sold out.

What amenities are included in registration?

Finisher medal, short-sleeve technical race t-shirt, custom race bib, professionally chip-timed race, donation to Food Connection, and post-race snacks.

What is the refund/cancellation policy?

No refunds. Event may be postponed to July 11 at the director’s discretion due to inclement weather; no refunds if postponed or canceled. Transfers allowed up to 5 days before the event via the registration page.
