About the ZERO Run/Walk

Why does prostate cancer still need attention? One in eight American men will be diagnosed in their lifetime. But prostate cancer is also highly treatable, with a 99% survival rate when caught in its earliest stages. Funds raised expand access to lifesaving screening, education, navigation, support, and community programs that help improve and save lives from prostate cancer. I'm not a runner. How else can I participate? Don’t worry, you don’t need to run or even walk if you’re not up to it. What’s important is that we support each other and raise awareness about prostate cancer. You can make your impact by fundraising in your own way. Post on social media and invite your friends to follow along and join you in the fun. You can also start your own fundraiser — whether it's a bake sale or the sale of your artwork or clothing — let your network know that proceeds will help improve and save lives for prostate cancer patients. However you take action, you'll be spreading crucial awareness for the cause and making direct support possible for patients and families affected by prostate cancer. Share how you're making an impact by posting a photo on social media using the hashtag #ZEROprostatecancer. How are donations used? 100% of donations go to ZERO Prostate Cancer, a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit (EIN 59-3400922) to provide education and awareness to promote risk understanding and early detection; navigation for treatment, insurance, and related costs; emotional support through groups, mentors, and community connections; advocacy to advance improved prostate cancer policy and care; and health equity initiatives that remove barriers for those at highest risk.
