Also in association with our membership in 1% For The Planet, we are pleased to recognize the Bald Head Island Conservancy – a leader in barrier island conservation, preservation and education – as an Official Charity of AdventureCORPS / Badwater. Race participants will appreciate that the BHIC cares for this race route’s pristine setting and its role as sea turtle nesting site, and will be encouraged to fundraise for the BHIC and support its mission. Verpflegung & Versorgung

On-course aid stations provide water, Tailwind Endurance Fuel (pre-mixed), Hammer Gel, electrolyte capsules (Endurolytes), mini Clif Bars, cookies (Aussie Mega Bites), Coke, Ginger Ale, chips, pretzels, trail mix, bananas, oranges, pickles, and pickle juice. No ibuprofen served. Competitors must carry hand-held water bottles, a waist pack, and/or hydration pack and the required race cup (cupless policy).

Pacer

Invited competitors may be paced; specific target times per start wave and "Pacerflaggen" are outlined on race day schedules (Renntag für Laufende). Pacers must meet qualification standards and follow event rules.
