The Boston Marathon is the world’s oldest annual marathon and one of the six Abbott World Marathon Majors, held each Patriots’ Day on the historic course from Hopkinton to Boston.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Water and sports drinks provided at regular intervals; energy gels and bananas at select stations near Heartbreak Hill and in Boston; detailed aid station list in the Participant Guide.
Pacer
Pro and elite pacers start in designated waves; target times per start wave are published in the Race Day information. Pacers wear numbered pacer bibs and flags — follow the official pacer for your target time on race day.
