An annual community 5K walk/run and kids fun run held at the DMACC Ankeny Campus, featuring certified courses, prizes by age category, and participant amenities including a morning breakfast burrito.
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Warm breakfast burrito and breakfast snacks provided at the finish; strollers and well-socialized leashed dogs allowed.
Pacer
Pacers will be present for the 5K Walk/Run with target times displayed by start wave on the race-day schedule (Renntag für Laufende). Pacers help runners maintain goal pace and will be identified by pacers’ vests.

Can strollers and dogs participate?
Yes, strollers and leashed/well socialized dogs are welcome and will start at the back of the group.
Are there age categories and prizes?
Prizes are awarded to the top male and top female in each age category: 14 and under, 15-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
