Über die Veranstaltung

Kansas’ oldest marathon and a Boston Qualifier held on the Sunday before Thanksgiving, offering marathon, half marathon, 10K and 5K distances on scenic paved trails and city streets in Overland Park.

Verpflegung & Versorgung

On-course aid stations offer water and Gatorade; select stations provide gels. Restrooms at start/finish and port-a-potties at multiple mile marks. Energy chews, Vaseline, and anti-cramp foam available at all aid stations.

Pacer

Pacemaker/Pacer: Yes — volunteer pacers will lead certain target finish-time waves on the day (e.g., 1:30, 1:35… up to 6:30 for the half; 3:30, 3:45… up to 6:30 for the marathon). Pacers line up with their assigned waves, use flagging, and provide coaching and encouragement to help runners meet goal times.
