Über die Veranstaltung
In 2007, Hamptons residents Amanda Moszkowski and Diane Weinberger set out to start the first marathon on the East End of Long Island. Now in its 20th year, Amanda and Diane remain the race directors and the Hamptons Marathon has established a reputation as being a premier running event, regularly attracting participants from around the world. Amanda and Diane established Hamptons Marathon, Inc., the 501(c)(3) corp that owns the event, and have remained committed to donating its net proceeds to support the community that they love.
Pacer
Pacers will not be offered. For the marathon, the pace per mile is 13:40; for the half marathon, 27 minutes 27 seconds per mile; and for the 5k, 1 hour 51 minutes per mile. These target times are outlined on race day for each Startwave.
