Where can I donate to Palmetto Goodwill?
You can drop off donations at any of our conveniently located donation centers across South Carolina. For locations and hours, visit our Store Locations and Hours page.
Does Palmetto Goodwill accept towels?
Yes, we accept towels as part of our household goods donations.
Does Palmetto Goodwill recycle items that can’t be sold in stores?
Yes, items that are not suitable for resale are responsibly recycled whenever possible, reducing landfill waste and supporting our sustainability efforts.
How do my donations help the community?
Revenue from donated items sold in our retail stores helps fund free job training and job placement services for individuals facing barriers to employment. In fact, 91 cents of every dollar received is reinvested into programs and services that directly benefit our local community.
Do you offer home pickup services for donations?
Yes, free pickups are available for qualifying donations based on size and amount. For larger donations, we partner with Resupply, a veteran-owned third-party company. To see if you qualify, visit our Commercial/Estate Pickup page.
What are the donation hours at Palmetto Goodwill?
Donation centers are open Monday–Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. For specific locations, visit our Store Locations and Hours page.

Success Coaches provide personalized career coaching and guidance to help individuals secure and maintain meaningful employment. They assist job seekers by: Developing career strategies and identifying high-demand job opportunities. Connecting individuals with training programs, certifications, and skill-building resources. Offering coaching, mentoring, and support throughout the job search process. Helping with career path selection, goal setting, and overcoming employment barriers. During the career navigation process, your assigned Success Coach will work closely with you to create a customized plan that aligns with your skills, interests, and long-term career goals.
