The 5K race course has been officially measured and certified at the 5K distance. See the link below to the PDF of certification map along with other images of the course maps and elevation profiles.ok5k certificate The Kid’s Race is an “out-and-back” course which ends where it begins. The elevation profile is also “out-and-back” (from start/end, reading left to right is first half-mile; then reading right back to left at end/start is second half-mile) Our new addition this year in partnership with the Capital Region Miracle League:
Verpflegung & Versorgung
Water and light refreshments provided at aid stations along the 5K route; finish area offers water and snacks.
Pacer
Pacers will be provided for the 5K starting at 9:00 am. Target pacer times: 6:00/km (10:7), 5:30/km (8:56), 5:00/km (8:00), 4:30/km (7:21) — choose the wave matching your goal pace. D.A.Y.S.I. Dash participants are welcome to run at a comfortable, non-competitive pace.

Are there age categories and awards?
Awards are given for overall and age-group top finishers in the 5K; all participants receive a race shirt and goody bag.
What is the registration fee?
5K: $25 standard (online), $30 after May 31; Student (18 and under): $15 online / $22 after May 31; Kids One-Mile and D.A.Y.S.I. Dash: free.
Where can I pick up my packet?
Packet pickup is at the James Vanderpoel ‘House of History’ (16 Broad St), Friday 5–7 PM and Saturday 7–8:30 AM.
