The Phoenix Turkey Trot is a 5K run/walk held in downtown Phoenix featuring a festive, family-friendly atmosphere with costume-themed categories and awards for top finishers in age groups.

Pacer

Pacemakers will be present for the 10K and 5K events with target start waves displayed on the day-of schedule (Renntag). Pacers help runners maintain goal pace and are identified by Pacifier flags at the start and during the course.

When and where is packet pickup?

Packet pickup is Monday, November 23 (3–7 PM) and Tuesday, November 24 (10 AM–7 PM) at Sole Sports Scottsdale, Wednesday, November 25 (10 AM–5 PM) at Sole Sports Tempe, and race day starting at 6:30 AM at Wesley Bolin Plaza in Downtown Phoenix.

Is there a costume contest?

Yes — costume categories include Best dressed turkey, Most creative, Best dressed family, Best dressed couple, and Best dressed team of 10 or more. Prizes will be awarded.

Who can participate?

The event is open to all ages and abilities. The 5K is a run/walk; the 10K is for runners seeking a course challenge. Both are on an easy, scenic course in Downtown Phoenix.
