An unforgettable desert running festival featuring mountain views, cactus-lined sunsets, and challenging trail loops. Teams and solo runners tackle Sonoran Desert terrain over a two-day event with camping under the stars in Ragnar Village.
Pacemakers set target times per start wave displayed at the Regntag for Pucers; flag beacons identify pacers on course. Pacers help runners maintain target splits and provide motivation while navigating the desert loop.

Correct. Ragnar Glamping is an add-on experience you are able to purchase after you have registered for a Ragnar Trail team. Glampsites can be purchased by the team captain after completing registration.
Bug spray, sunscreen, earplugs, first aid kit, card games, charging station, etc. can be found in the courtyard. Please use within the courtyard and do not take back to your campsite so that in the case anyone else needs to use them they’ll be able to.
Courtyard is a common area for all Glampers to congregate, socialize, stretch, charge your phones at charging stations, retrieve ice from coolers, utilize our amenities, fill up water bottles, join fire pits, make s'more's, get French press coffee in the morning, etc.
We try to be as versatile with our options as possible, unfortunately there's a limited amount of cords and in the case we don't have the specific one you need, feel free to bring your own USB charging cord to the charging station and utilize one of our charging blocks.
Once you reserve your spot, we will send out an email with instructions on how to find your glamping campsite and other information you’ll need for race weekend.
Yes. Please email the race director with the team numbers if you'd like to be placed next to another team.
It’s your responsibility to throw out your trash at a nearby dumpster at the venue. Someone will sort through your trash and recycling at the end of the event so we’re 100% efficient with waste management.
You can, however, the price will remain the same for the weekend. The entire glamping campsite is available for rent for the weekend. Glamping is not available for individuals, pairs, etc. Teams only.
All staff on site will be easily identifiable with an orange vest or staff shirt. Glamping staff will specifically be located in the glamping area by the courtyard.
The Glamping staff is there to help with questions, issues and support. They are “as needed” and will check in with teams from time to time and help if something breaks, they run out of toilet paper, need more ice, etc.
Coffee times will be communicated during your check in to Glamping and will be available in the courtyard while supplies last.
You’ll be able to find a staff member in an orange vest by the courtyard. Once you’ve located a staff member, they’ll walk you through the layout and help you decide what works best based on availability. It’s first come, first served. Please inform the staff member of the site you’d like to claim.
Upon the entrance (zipper wall split open acting as a doorway) of each site you’ll find a number labeling the camp site from 1-40 depending on how many sites are available. If you’re not sure which site your team has chosen, find a staff member in an orange vest to help you out.
Find a staff member with an orange vest, they’ll point out the ice chest in the courtyard.
Unfortunately you can’t. Please return the backpack coolers to the courtyard, this is very important so we can ensure the same accommodations per event.
Unfortunately we aren’t able to offer refunds, but if you’d like to sell your site to another team, you’re more than welcome!
Hey, we make great events, but we don’t know the dietary preferences of your teammates be they gluten-free, freegan or meativore. This is a byob (bring your own bacon) sort of arrangement. There are meals available at Ragnar Village as well.

There will be a clearly marked tent at the Ragnar Village where you pick up the product when you check in. Return it to the same location before you leave.
Yes! Simply increase the quantity on the checkout page.
Not at this time. But please visit www.tetongear.com to view their full camping inventory.
Tents and pads must be reserved in advance online. No on-site rentals will be permitted unless there is spare inventory. The rental starts on Thursday of the Ragnar Trail race weekend and ends on Saturday after the race. Tents and pads must be returned before the renter departs the venue. If the renter does not arrive until Friday, they may also pick up their tent and pads anytime on Friday at the same rental price.
When you arrive to the Ragnar Village, please visit the Camping Equipment Rental tent, located next to the HQ tent where your team checks in. This tent is also where you will return your tent and sleeping pads at the end of the event.
Yes, Ragnar still rents cots at each trail event for $20 each. Advance reservations are not available for cots at this time. Cots are available on a first-come, first-serve basis at the camping equipment rental tent. The rental fee is payable by credit card only on site at the event.
The Teton Vista 2-person tent fits a maximum of 2 people. If you want to house more than 2 people, please rent more tents! The Mesa 4-person tent fits a maximum of 4 people. If you want to house more than 4 people, please rent more tents!
The Teton Vista 2-Person Tent is designed for a quick and easy setup in under 5 minutes. No need to mess around with poles! First, take the tent out of the bag, then unfold the base of the tent. Use the cord on the top of the frame to pull the frame up and lock it into place. Be sure to secure the tent to the ground with provided stakes. A rain fly is provided and can be affixed to the corners of the tent at the stakes. To tear down, simply follow this process in reverse, folding the fly and the tent neatly. Roll the tent tightly to slide it back into its bag. Feel free to ask a Ragnar staff or SWAT member on site for help. Ragnar will also lend hammers at the equipment rental tent that may be borrowed as needed. Hammers are meant to pound stakes in the ground to hold your tent in place. Hammers must be returned upon finishing the tent setup.
No electricity or pump needed to inflate. Its valves are designed to fully inflate the pad and make deflation quick and easy. Just twist the valve open and the pad begins to fill itself. It will be completely inflated in a matter of minutes. Then twist it closed to trap the air at any level of inflation you like best. Reverse this process to deflate your pads before returning them.
The renter is responsible for damage to the tent or sleeping pads, outside of normal wear and tear. The renter should inspect the tent and pads upon receiving and let Ragnar staff know if there is pre-existing damage or missing parts. Renters returning damaged tents or pads, or returning with missing parts, will be responsible for paying the full MSRP value of the tent and pads. The tent MSRP is $129 and each pad MSRP is $74.99.
